Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari adanya permasalahan yang penelititemukan di SKh Al-Kautsar Cilegon Banten, yaitu pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas IV SDKh dalam segi pembelajaran beladiri dasar tapaksuci. Dengan adanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapanmetode learning by doing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan beladiri dasatapaksuci yang akan diterapkan pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Singel Subject Research dengan desain A1 – B – A2, target behavior dalam penelitian ini ialah kemampuan beladiri dasatapaksuci. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya mean pada target behaviorHasil yang didapat dalam kemampuan beladiri dasar tapaksuci yaitu kondisbaseline-1 (A1) sebanyak 33%, Fase Intervensi (B) sebanyak 87,3%, dan padafase baseline-2 (A2) sebanyak 79,75%. Maka peneliti simpulkan bahwapenerapan metode learning by doing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan beladirdasar tapaksuci pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran di SKh Al-KautsarCilegon Banten kela IV SDKh.

Additional Information: In this study the background of the problems that the researchers found in SKh Al-Kautsar Cilegon Banten, namely in children with hearing impairments in grade IV SDKh in terms of learning basic tapaksuci martial arts. With the existence of this study aims to determine the extent to which the application of the learning by doing method in improving basic tapaksuci martial arts skills that will be applied to children with hearing impairments. In this study using the Singel Subject Research approach with the A1 - B - A2 design, the target behavior in this study was the basic tapaksuci self-defense skills. This is indicated by the increasing mean of the target behavior. The results obtained in the basic martial arts skills of tapaksuci were the baseline-1 (A1) condition as much as 33%, the intervention phase (B) as much as 87.3%, and in the baseline-2 phase (A2) as much as 79,75%. So it can be concluded that the application of the learning by doing method can improve the basic skills of tapaksuci in children with hearing impairments in SKh Al-Kautsar Cilegon Banten group IV SDKh.
