Abstract

In thermochemistry material, students usually only memorize theories and formulas, and do not understand the relationship between everyday life and the chemical concepts being taught. Therefore, the development of ethno-science-laden worksheets is one way to incorporate culture into education, so that education becomes more meaningful. One of the ethnosciences related to chemistry learning is roasting melinjo fruit using sand as a medium. This study uses a research and development method which is commonly called the Research and Development (R & D) method. The model used is a model developed by Dick and Carey in 1996, namely the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The instruments used in this study were interview instruments, student statement questionnaires, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative by using the Aiken V (Content Validity Index) validity test and practicality test. This E-LKPD was tested on a small group of 10 XI MIPA 2 students at SMAN 6 Serang City. The results of the study were (1) Ethnoscience-based Electronic LKPD on the theme of roasting melinjo chips on thermochemical material developed using the ADDIE method (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation), (2) Electronic LKPD based on ethnoscience on the theme of roasting melinjo chips on thermochemical material is valid and feasible applied in chemistry learning with Aiken's V which is 0.87 and is included in the very valid category so it is feasible to use, (3) The response of students to the developed Electronic LKPD is 78% in the good category, and can be seen from the results of calculations and filling out questionnaires that get positive response. The limitation of this study was that the disseminate stage was not carried out for large groups. Keywords: Ethnoscience, E-LKPD, Thermochemistry, Chips Melinjo.

Additional Information: Pada materi Termokimia, peserta didik biasanya hanya menghafalkan teori dan rumus, serta kurang memahami hubungan antara kehidupan sehari-hari dengan konsep kimia yang diajarkan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan LKPD bermuatan etnosains merupakan salah satu cara memasukkan budaya dalam Pendidikan, agar Pendidikan menjadi lebih bermakna. Salah satu etnosains yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran kimia yaitu penyangraian buah melinjo menggunakan media pasir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang biasa disebut metode Research and Development (R & D). Model yang digunakan merupakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Dick and Carey tahun 1996, yaitu model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrument wawancara, angket pernyataan peserta didik, lembar validasi, dan angket respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji validitas Aiken V (Content Validity Index) dan uji kepraktisan. E-LKPD ini diujicobakan kepada kelompok kecil berjumlah 10 orang peserta didik XI MIPA 2 SMAN 6 Kota Serang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) LKPD Elektronik berbasis etnosains tema penyangraian emping melinjo pada materi termokimia dikembangkan dengan metode ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation), (2) LKPD Elektronik berbasis etnosains tema penyangraian emping melinjo pada materi termokimia valid dan layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kimia dengan Aiken’s V yaitu 0,87 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid sehingga layak digunakan, (3) Respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD Elektronik yang dikembangkan adalah 78% dengan kategori baik, serta dapat dilihat dari hasil pehitungan dan pengisian angket yang mendapatkan respon positif.. Keterbatasan pada penelitian ini yaitu tidak dilakukan tahap disseminate (penyebaran) untuk kelompok besar. Kata kunci : Etnosains, E-LKPD, Termokimia, Emping Melinjo.
