Additional Information: The objectives of this research are to find out the correlation between (1) the students' Perception and their Academic Speaking Ability; (2) the students' Expectation and their Academic Speaking Ability; (3) the students’ Perception and Expectation on online learning in Academic Speaking Ability. In this research, the researcher used a correlation design. There were three variables in this study, students' perceptions (X1), students' expectations (X2), and Academic Speaking Ability (Y). The population of this research was all students in the third semester in the Academic Speaking Ability of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa consisting of 110 students from three classes. The sample of the research was collected by random sampling class with 29 students. To collect the data, the researcher used questionnaires and Tests. The results of the data for the first hypothesis show the sig value 0.291 > 0,05, the second hypothesis shows the sig value 0.024 < 0,05. Furthermore, the third hypothesis shows the correlation between all variables by calculating rcount. rcount value can be seen = 0.479. rcount> rtabel (0.479> 0.367). Besides, information can also be obtained that the coefficient of determination is (0.230) x 100% = 23%, which also means that 23% of the variation in students' speaking scores is influenced by perceptions and expectations, and 77% is influenced by another factor. It can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the student's perception and the students’ expectation on Online Learning in Academic Speaking Ability at Third Semester Department of English Education Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa.
