Abstract

FTTB merupakan jaringan serat optik yang memiliki transfer data yang cepat, dan bandwidth besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan jaringan FTTB pada gedung area PEMKOT Kota Cilegon untuk meninkatkan pelayanan kepana masyarakat Kota Cilogon. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan kelayakan jaringan yang rancang adalah Power Link Budget dan Rise Time Budget. Bedasarkan hasil dari perancangan dan perhitungan daya terima tertinggi ada pada gedung Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Cilegon yaitu perhitungan -15,966305dBm dan Simulasi -16,1dBm pada sisi downlink dan untuk sisi uplink perhitungan 5,412305dBm dan Simulasi -7,776dBm. Perhitungan Rise Time Budget didapat nilai Rise time tertinggi pada gedung Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Cilegon dengan nilai yang didapat 0,2546004ns pada sisi downlink dan untuk nilai perhitungan rise time budget sisi uplink terbesar ada digedung Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Cilegon dengan nilai 0,2503160ns. Hasil yang diperoleh sudah dapat dikatakan layak karena tidak melebihi setandar dari PT TELKOM.

Additional Information: FTTB is a fiber optic network that has fast data transfer and large bandwidth. In this study, the design of the FTTB network in the PEMKOT area building of Cilegon City was carried out to improve service to the people of Cilegon City. The methods used to determine the feasibility of the designed network are Power Link Budget and Rise Time Budget. Based on the results of the design and calculation of the highest acceptability in the Office of Population and Civil Registry of Cilegon City, the calculation is -15.966305dBm and the Simulation is -16.1dBm on the downlink side and for the uplink side the calculation is -5,412305dBm and the Simulation is -7,776dBm. In the calculation of the Rise Time Budget, the highest rise time value is obtained in the Cilegon City Population and Civil Registry Office building with a value of 0.2546004ns on the downlink side and the largest uplink side rise time budget calculation value is in the Cilegon City Population and Civil Registry Office building with a value of 0.2503160ns. The results obtained can be said to be feasible because they do not exceed the standards of PT TELKOM..
