| Additional Information: | One of the blue swimming crab fishing centers in the Java Sea is in Banten Bay with a fishing center at the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Karangantu is one of the swimming crab fisheries center in the Java Sea. This study aims to determine the feasibility of blue swimming crab fisheries activity using bottom gillnet fishing gear in Banten Bay. The method used in this research is the interview. The research was conducted in May-June 2021 in Karangmulya Village, Banten Village, Kasemen District, Serang City with a total of 22 respondents. The data was collected using deep interview. The value of the R/C ratio for boat owners and tenant is 1.81 and 1.87, respectively. The potential profit for boat owners is IDR 52,616,026 and for fishermen who charter boats is IDR 38,736,000. The results showed that the blue swimming crab gill nets is still feasible to be developed. | |||||||||
