Abstract
This study examines and analyzes the effect of emotional intelligence, preventive discipline, and physical work environment on employee performance at Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Lebak. The method used in this research is quantitative and causality. The sampling technique used a nonprobability sampling with a saturated sampling type totaling 93 respondents. The model test with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool in data analysis techniques consists of the outer and inner models. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Emotional intelligence on employee performance obtained t-statistic (5.521) > t-table (1.96) and p-value (0.000) < sig (0.05), the higher the emotional intelligence, the employee's performance will increase. 2) Preventive discipline on employee performance obtained t-statistic (2.007) > t-table (1.96) and p-value (0.045) < sig (0.05), the higher the preventive discipline, the employee's performance will increase. 3) Physical work environment on employee performance obtained t-statistic (5.375) > t-table (1.96) and p-value (0.000) < sig (0.05), the better the physical work environment, the employee's performance will increase. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan kausalitas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh berjumlah 93 responden. Pada teknik analisis data, menggunakan uji model dengan alat analisis SmartPLS 3.0 yang terdiri atas outer model dan inner model. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai didapat t-statistic (5.521) > t-tabel (1.96) dan nilai p-value (0.000) < sig (0.05), maka semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional, kinerja pegawai akan semakin meningkat. 2) Disiplin preventif terhadap kinerja pegawai didapat t-statistic (2.007) > t-tabel (1.96) dan nilai p-value (0.045) < sig (0.05), maka semakin tinggi disiplin preventif, kinerja pegawai akan semakin meningkat. 3) Lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja pegawai didapat t-statistic (5.375) > t-tabel (1.96) dan nilai p-value (0.000) < sig (0.05), maka semakin baik lingkungan kerja fisik, kinerja pegawai akan semakin meningkat.
