Abstract
Pemanfaatan Powtoon dalam Pembelajaran Keterampilan Membaca Dan Menulis Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon Banten, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kelas XI SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon Banten Banten Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021.Hal ini Makalah penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Powtoon dalam pengajaran keterampilan membaca dan menulis dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada Siswa Kelas X SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel di Cilegon Banten. Makalah penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi angket, observasi, dan tes. Data diperoleh dari dua siklus. Hasil penelitian adalah 90% siswa dari kelas XI IPA mendapat nilai tinggi pada siklus 2. Selain itu, siswa merasa senang dan antusias untuk belajar bahasa Inggris di kelas online. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini; Penting bagi guru untuk memilih media yang tepat untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan juga kemampuan bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, media ini dapat meningkatkan belajar siswa dan keterampilan membaca dan menulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Berkaitan dengan respon siswa terhadap media tersebut, ditemukan bahwa siswa merespons media tersebut secara positif. Sebaiknya guru juga mengidentifikasi respon siswa terhadap media yang digunakan untuk menentukan media mana yang sesuai untuk mereka. Temuan ini juga mengharapkan peneliti lain untuk menyelidiki pengaruh media ini pada kemampuan lain bahasa Inggris pada siswa.

Additional Information: | The Use of Powtoon in Teaching Reading And Writing Skills at the Eleventh Grade of SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel in Cilegon Banten, a Classroom Action Research at Eleventh Grade of SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel in Cilegon Banten Banten in the Academic Year 2020/2021.This thesis aims to investigate the implementation of Powtoon in teaching reading and writing skill in English learning at Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel in Cilegon Banten.This research paper employed the classroom action research. It used a triangulation of data collection methods involving questionnaire, observation, and tests. The data were obtained from two cycles. The research results are 90% of students from class of XI IPA are got the high score in cycle 2. Moreover, the students feel happy and enthusiastic to learning English in the online class. Based on the findings of this research; it is significant for the teachers to choose the appropriate media for improving student‟s English skill. In addition, this media can improve student‟s motivation and student‟s reading and writing skills in English. In relation to the student‟s responses on the media, it is found that the students respond these media positively. It is also wise for the teachers to identify the student‟s responses on the media used to determine which media is appropriate for them. The findings also expect other researchers to investigate the effect of this strategies on others student‟s English skill. | |||||||||
