Abstract

Yuniar Puji Lestari. 2022. The Effect of Thidiazuron on the Initiation of Mas Kirana (Musa acuminata C.) and Tanduk (Musa paradisiaca L.) Banana Shoots In Vitro. Under the guidance of Susiyanti dan Zahratul Millah. This research aimed to determine the effect of thidiazuron (TDZ) levels on the growth of banana shoots (Musa sp.) in vitro. This research was conducted at the Integrated Agricultural System Network Cultivation Laboratory, Banten Province Agriculture Service, in December 2021 until June 2022. This research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design. The first factor was the variety of bananas, namely Pisang Mas Kirana and Pisang Tanduk. The second factor was the concentration of Thidiazuron with 6 levels 0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.4; 0.5. The results showed that the Mas Kirana variety had a very significant effect on the time parameters of bud emergence, shoot height 4 WAP - 12 WAP, number of shoots 4 WAP - 12 WAP and number of leaves 12 WAP, and had no significant effect on time parameters for leaf count 4 WAP - 8 WAP. While the treatment of TDZ concentration had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height 4 WAP, number of leaves 8 WAP - 12 WAP, time of shoot emergence and number of shoots 4 WAP. and a very significant effect on the number of leaves 12 WAP and the number of shoots 12 WAP. The parameters of plant height 8 WAP - 12 WAP and the number of shoots 8 WAP gave a significant effect. There was an interaction between varieties and concentrations of TDZ on plant height parameters 8 WAP -12 WAP, number of leaves 4 WAP and number of shoots 8 WAP -12 WAP. Di bawah bimbingan Susiyanti dan Zahratul Millah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kadar thidiazuron (TDZ) terhadap pertumbuhan tunas pisang (Musa sp.) secara in vitro. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Budidaya Jaringan Sistem Pertanian Terpadu Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Banten pada bulan Desember 2021 sampai Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah varietas pisang yaitu Pisang Mas Kirana dan Pisang Tanduk. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi Thidiazuron dengan 6 taraf 0; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3; 0,4; 0,5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Mas Kirana berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter waktu munculnya tunas, tinggi tunas 4 MST - 12 MST, jumlah tunas 4 MST - 12 MST dan jumlah daun 12 MST, dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter waktu hitungan daun 4 WAP - 8 WAP. Sedangkan perlakuan konsentrasi TDZ tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 4 MST, jumlah daun 8 MST - 12 MST, waktu munculnya tunas dan jumlah tunas 4 MST. dan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun 12 MST dan jumlah tunas 12 MST. Parameter tinggi tanaman 8 MST - 12 MST dan jumlah tunas 8 MST memberikan pengaruh nyata. Terdapat interaksi antara varietas dan konsentrasi TDZ pada parameter tinggi tanaman 8 MST -12 MST, jumlah daun 4 MST dan jumlah tunas 8 MST -12 MST.
