Abstract

This research was motivated by the test instrument used in school that do not contain all indicators of higher order thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to obtain and analyze data on the validity of the higher-order thinking ability test instrument based on the disaster preparedness theme wordwall for class VIII junior high school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall model which is limited to the potential and problem stages, information gathering, product design, design validation, and design revision. The subjects of this research are assessment experts, media experts, and expert practitioners who were selected by purposive sampling. The types of data used in this research are interviews and validation questionnaires. This research produced a prototype in the form of 30 multiple choice items of high order thinking skills type which were developed based on wordwall. Judging from the overall assessment of the experts, the prototype developed obtained a level of validity of 94.87%, so it can be concluded that the high order thinking skill test instrument based on the disaster preparedness theme is categorized as "Very Valid" and can be used to measure students higher order thinking skills. Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh instrumen tes yang digunakan di sekolah belum memuat keseluruhan indikator kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh dan menganalisis data kevalidan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi berbasis wordwall tema siaga bencana pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall yang dibatasi menjadi tahap potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli assessment, ahli media, dan ahli praktisi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan angket validasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan prototype berupa 30 butir soal pilihan ganda bertipe kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang dikembangkan berbasis wordwall. Ditinjau secara keseluruhan penilaian dari para ahli, prototype yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat kevalidan sebesar 94,87%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi berbasis wordwall tema siaga bencana dikategorikan “Sangat Valid” dan dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik.
