Abstract
The development of technology is widely used by the public to get information quickly and easily. One of the technological developments with the social media Instagram. Instagram is used as a platform to meet information needs. One of them is used by the @indonesiafeminis account, the account is used as a platform to meet needs related to feminism. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much influence the use of the @indonesiafeminis Instagram account has on meeting the information needs of feminism. The theory of the use of social media (Cris Heur) and the theory of meeting information needs (Guha and Syafril) are used as the theoretical basis in this study. This study uses an explanative quantitative approach methodology. This study uses a survey method with a population of 116,000 from all followers of @indonesiafeminis for the period December-February 2022 and a sample of 400 respondents. The results of this study through a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The percentage of variable X (use of the @indonesiafeminis Instagram account) of 57.6% has a very high tendency. The percentage of Y variable (fulfillment of feminism information needs) of 56% has a very high tendency. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the use of the @indonesiafeminis Instagram account is influenced by 30.8% by meeting the information needs of feminism and by 69.2% due to other factors. The results of the correlation coefficient show a relationship level of 0.555, which means that the variable X has a moderate level of relationship with a positive degree. The value of r table is 0.098, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted

Salah satu perkembangan teknologi dengan adanya media sosial Instagram. Instagram dimanfaatkan sebagai platform untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi. Salah satunya dimanfaatkan oleh akun @indonesiafeminis, akun tersebut dimanfaatkan sebagai platform untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan terkait feminisme. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan akun Instagram @indonesiafeminis terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi feminisme. Teori penggunaan media sosial (Cris Heuer) dan teori pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi (Guha dan Syafril) digunakan sebagai landasan teori dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan populasi sebanyak 116.000 dari keseluruhan pengikut @indonesiafeminis periode DesemberFebruari 2022 dan sampel sebanyak 400 responden. Hasil penelitian ini melalui instrumen penelitian kuesioner. Presentase variabel X (penggunaan akun Instagram @indonesiafeminis) sebesar 57,6% memiliki kecenderungan sangat tinggi. Presentase variabel Y (pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi feminisme) sebesar 56% memiliki kecenderungan sangat tinggi. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan akun Instagram @indonesiafeminis dipengaruhi sebesar 30,8% oleh pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi feminisme dan sebanyak 69,2% disebabkan oleh faktor lain. Hasil koefisien korelasi menunjukkan tingkat hubungan sebesar 0,555 yang berartikan variabel X memiliki tingkat hubungan sedang dengan derajat positif.
