Abstract
The Balada Si Roy: Joe is a novel written by Gol A Gong which raises the background of the social-cultural condition of the community in the author’s environment so that the novel was created, the researchers analyzes it using Lucien Goldmann’s genetic structuralism approach. The research questions (1) what are the elements of Lucien Goldmann’s Genetic Structuralism in the novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong? (2) Get the results of Lucien Goldmann’s Genetic Structuralism analysis in the novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong as an alternative teaching material for novel learning in high school? This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods to identify the elements of genetic structuralism in the novel by using library research techniquest and interview and supported by secondary data reference. Souces of research data in the form of novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong, while the data in this study are words, sentence, and paraghraps contained in the novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong which contains elements of Lucien Goldmann’s Genetic Struktualism. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that: (1) Lucien Goldmann’s analysis of genetic structuralism in the novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong found 68 data on elements of genetic structuralism including 14 facts of humanity, 18 data on elements of collective subjects, 16 data on the author’s worldview, and 20 dialectical data of explanation understanding. (2) The results of the analysis of the novel Balada Si Roy: Joe by Gol A Gong can be used as an alternative teaching material for novel leraning in the form of modules in class XII senior high school.

| Additional Information: | Novel Balada Si Roy: Joe merupakan novel yang ditulis oleh Gol A Gong yang mengangkat hal yang melatarbelakangi kondisi sosial budaya masyarakat di lingkungan pengarang sehingga terciptanya novel tersebut, maka peneliti menganalisisnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik Lucein Goldmann. Adapun pertanyaan penelitian (1) Bagaiman unsur Strukturalisme Genetik Lucien Goldmann pada novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong? (2) Dapatkan hasil analisis Sturkturalisme Gentik Lucien Goldmann pada novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong sebagai alternatif bahan ajar pembelajarn novel di SMA?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengentahui unsur sturkturalisme genetik pada novel, dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian pustaka dan wawancara, serta didukung oleh referensi data sekunder. Sumber data penelitian berupa novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong, adapun data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, dan paragraf yang terdapat dalam novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong yang mengandung unsur strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Analisis Strukturalisme Genetik Lucien Goldmann pada novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong ditemukan 68 data unsur strukturalisme genetik diataranya 14 fakta kemanusiaan, 18 data unsur subjek kolektif, 16 data pandangan dunia pengarang, dan 20 data dialektika pemahaman penjelasan. (2) Hasil analisis novel Balada Si Roy: Joe karya Gol A Gong dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar pembelajaran novel berupa modul di kelas XII SMA. | |||||||||
