Abstract

The purpose of this researchstudy was to determine the effect of using Media Comic and Learning Styles to Reading Comprehension Narrative Text English Result. The method used in this study is an experimental method to design a 2 x 2 factorial design. Research was conducted at SMAN 4 Pandeglang in the 2nd half of the school year 2013/2014 with a sample of 52 randomly selected students, with 26 students in experimental and 26 students of class control. Data was collected through questionnaires directly to the sample, test or treatments work, and written test. The results showed that: 1) There is a significant effect of learning comics and audio media on learning outcomes of reading comprehension English narrative text with the results Fcalculated 6.089> Ftable 4.08. 2) There is a significant relationship between field indepedent and field depedentlearning styles on learning outcomes of reading comprehension English narrative text with the results Fcalculated 19.465> Ftable 4.08. 3) There is a significant effect of the interaction between mediacomic and style learning on learning outcomes reading comprehension English narrative text readingwith the results Fcalculated5,374> Ftable4.08.
