Abstract

This study aimed to describe the development of English language learning model, implementation, self assessment, and character education in MTs Darel Azhar Rangkasbitung Lebak Regency. This research uses the model development method in class VII MTs description Darel Azhar Rangkasbitung. The results showed Development learning model of English in class VII in the taxonomy of understanding covering the competence of language structure, language elements, and social functions of English. Implications development of English language learning model includes the development of learning objectives, the development characteristics of learners , the development of the subject matter, the development of learning strategies and assessment development. Self-assessment is an assessment technique by asking learners to express themselves the advantages and disadvantages in the context of the achievement of competence . Most learners have a spiritual attitude and good social attitudes. Character development programs arranged systematically include strategies, methods, and character development activities. Basic education is a religious character, biological, psychological, social and moral. Most learners have a spiritual character, responsibility, honesty, discipline, teamwork and excellent care.
