Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the design, development, and implementation and the effectiveness of media-based learning Autoplay Media Studio in enhancing the learning activities of “Paket B” in “PKBM Maritim” District of Labuan. The method used is the method of Research and Development (R & D) to adapt the research procedure Borg & Gall, starting with covering; 1) the results of the analysis of needs, 2) early product development, 3) expert validation, 4) revision of product I, 5) small group trial, 6) product revision II, 7) test a large group, and 8) of the final product. To get the proper instructional media used in the validation study by media experts and expert material. Furthermore, learning media tested which includes testing of small group and large group trials. Subject trials instructional media products are learners “Paket B” Class VII in the “PKBM Maritim” District of Labuan totaling 25 people. Results of the assessment / validation showed that (1) the validation of learning media experts are at sufficient qualification with a mean of 3.9 (2) of expert validation of learning materials are in good qualifying with a mean 4 (3) small group trial are in enough qualifying with an average 3.54 (4) trial was a large group in the qualification enough with a mean of 3.71 (5) on the observation trials are a small group in qualifying were less active with a mean of 3.25 and (6) the observation of the trials were a large group in qualifying was quite active with a mean of 3.6.
