Abstract

Artemia sp. is one of the important live feed in aquaculture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving enriched Artemia sp. with soybean oil on the growth performance of sinyonya carp larvae. The research was carried out from September to October 2021 at the Aquaculture Laboratory, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The treatments used were Artemia sp. Enriched using soybean oil with different doses (0, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 g/L) and 3 replications. Sinyonya carp larvae (weight: 0.002±0.00 g; length: 5.94±0.00 mm) were reared with density 200 individuals per container for 20 days. Artemia sp. enrichment was carried out for 6 hours. The results showed that Artemia sp. enrichment with soybean oil for Artemia sp. could increase the growth performance of sinyonya carp larvae. Treatment D (0.5 g/L) significantly showed the best absolute weight (0.029±0.01 g), absolute length (8.47±0.97 mm), daily length growth rate (4.42±0.34 %mm/day), daily weight growth rate (13.65±0.89 %g/day). In addition, Treatment D was able to increase the content of protein and fat by 3.31% and 4.38%. In conclusion, the provision of life feed in the form of Artemia sp. enriched with soybean oil has an effect on the performance of larval growth. The best treatment was in treatment D with a dose of 0.5 g/L.

Additional Information: Artemia sp. merupakan salah satu pakan alami yang penting dalam budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Artemia sp. yang diperkaya dengan minyak kedelai terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan larva ikan mas sinyonya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September hingga Oktober 2021 di Laboratorium Budidaya Perairan Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah Artemia sp. diperkaya menggunakan minyak kedelai dengan dosis berbeda (0, 0.3, 0.4 dan 0.5 g/L) dan 3 kali ulangan. Larva ikan mas sinyonya (berat: 0,002±0,00 g; panjang: 5,94±0,00 mm) dipelihara dengan kepadatan 200 ekor per wadah selama 20 hari. Pengkayaan Artemia sp. dilakukan selama 6 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Artemia sp. yang diperkaya dengan minyak kedelai dapat meningkatkan kierja pertumbuhan larva ikan mas sinyonya. Perlakuan D (0,5 g/L) menunjukkan nila bobot mutlak terbaik (0,029±0,01 g), panjang mutlak (8,47±0,97 mm), laju pertumbuhan panjang harian (4,42±0,34 %mm/hari), laju pertumbuhan bobot harian (13,65 ±0,89 %g/hari). Selain itu, Perlakuan D mampu meningkatkan kandungan protein dan lemak sebesar 3,31% dan 4,38%. Kesimpulannya, pemberian pakan alami berupa Artemia sp. yang diperkaya dengan minyak kedelai berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan larva. Perlakuan terbaik adalah pada perlakuan D dengan dosis 0,5 g/L.
