Abstract

This study discusses the types of imperative speech acts and the meaning of pragmatic imperatives contained in teaching and learning interactions in class X SMA Negeri 1 Jawilan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the aim of describing the types and meanings of imperative speech acts spoken by educators and students. The research techniques used include data collection techniques using library research techniques, recording techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. Next, the data coding technique is made using a data card. The data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. Then, the technique of checking the validity of the data was carried out using expert triangulation. The source of the data obtained in this study is the source of oral data obtained by listening to the imperative utterances of educators and students in the learning process. Based on the results of the research obtained through the imperative imperatives of educators and students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Jawilan, found 47 data, namely (1) ordinary command imperative speech acts totaling 3 data, (2) request imperative speech acts totaling 3 data, (3) The imperative speech act of granting permission is 4 data, (4) the imperative speech act of invitation is 8 data, (5) the imperative speech act of ordering is 19 data, (6) the imperative speech act of invitation is 3 data, and (7) the imperative speech act of prohibition totaling 7 data. With the pragmatic meaning of the imperative asking, giving permission, inviting, ordering, inviting, and forbidding. The results of this study prove that the use of imperative speech acts is more widely used than others. Imperative speech acts can be used by educators to make the process of teaching and learning interactions between educators and students more active. Then to understand the meaning in an imperative speech, educators and students must understand the context of the speech, thus imperative speech acts in teaching and learning interactions can be said to be successful. Additional Information: Penelitian ini membahas jenis-jenis tindak tutur imperatif dan makna pragmatik imperatif yang terdapat dalam interaksi belajar mengajar di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Jawilan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan makna tindak tutur imperatif yang dituturkan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik. Teknik penelitian yang diguanakan meliputi teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik studi pustaka, teknik rekam, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Selanjutnya, teknik pengodean data yang dibuat menggunakan kartu data. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kajian isi (content analysis). Kemudian, teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi ahli. Sumber data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber data lisan yang didapatkan dengan cara menyimak tuturan imperatif pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan melalui tututan imperatif pendidik dan peserta didik di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Jawilan, ditemukan 47 data yaitu (1) tindak tutur imperatif perintah biasa berjumlah 3 data, (2) tindak tutur imperatif permintaan berjumlah 3 data, (3) tindak tutur imperatif pemberian izin berjumlah 4 data, (4) tindak tutur imperatif ajakan berjumlah 8 data, (5) tindak tutur imperatif suruhan berjumlah 19 data, (6) tindak tutur imperatif persilaan berjumlah 3 data, dan (7) tindak tutur imperatif larangan berjumlah 7 data. Dengan makna pragmatik imperatif meminta, memberikan izin, mengajak, menyuruh, mempersilakan, dan melarang. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan tindak tutur imperatif suruhan lebih banyak digunakan dibandingkan yang lain. Tindak tutur imperatif dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pendidik untuk membuat proses interaksi belajar mengajar antara pendidik dan peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif. Kemudian untuk memahami makna dalam suatu tuturan imperatif, pendidik dan peserta didik harus memahami konteks pertuturan tersebut, dengan demikian tindak tutur imperatif dalam interaksi belajar mengajar dapat dikatakan berhasil.
