Abstract
Technology is growing so that it is necessary to implement a fiber optic network by making calculation simulations using Matlab software. This study I am to create a simulation program for calculating the Power Link Budget (PLB), Rise Time Budget (RTB), and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) parameters, analyze and compare the result of calculations, Matlab simulations and measurement, then to determine the level of accuracy generated. Measurement data and data obtained from Matlab calculation simulations. The research method used is experimental simulation of PLB, RTB, and SNR calculations using Matlab software. As for the results of this study the average result of PLB calculations are -15.57 dBm, Matlab simulations are -15.57 dBm, and measurements are -14.85 dBm. While the average results on the RTB worth 0.2793 ns. In addition the average result on the SNR is 48.90 dB. The results obtained by PLB, RTB, and SNR are still in the standardization of PT. Additional Information: | Teknologi semakin berkembang sehingga dibutuhkan penerapan jaringan serat optik dengan membuat simulasi perhitungan menggunakan software Matlab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat program simulasi perhitungan parameter Power Link Budget (PLB), Rise Time Budget (RTB), dan Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), menganalisis dan membandingkan hasil perhitungan, simulasi Matlab dan pengukuran, kemudian untuk mengetahui tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan data pengukuran dan data yang diperoleh dari simulasi perhitungan Matlab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental membuat simulasi perhitungan PLB, RTB, dan SNR dengan menggunakan software Matlab. Adapun hasil penelitian ini hasil rata-rata perhitungan PLB sebesar -15,57 dBm, simulasi Matlab sebesar -15,57 dBm, dan pengukuran sebesar -14,85 dBm. Sedangkan hasil rata-rata pada RTB senilai 0,2793 ns. Selain itu hasil rata-rata pada SNR senilai 48,90 dB.
