Abstract

Character education is a self-development process that teaches about character, personality and behavior so as to form an expected individual. Discipline character is an attitude or habit of someone who is obedient and obedient to the rules or regulations that have been in effect. Discipline character needs to be instilled in every human being from an early age, this is a good start for every education of the nation's children to undergo the next process. Seeing how important the character of the discipline can be developed by the tutor, it can be applied through the habituation method in daily activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of forming the disciplined character of early childhood, the disciplinary behavior shown by the child after getting the habituation method, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the child's disciplinary character through the habituation method in PAUD Cipta Cendikia Bangsa Cipondoh Tangerang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The process of forming the disciplined character of early childhood through the habituation method at Cipta Cendikia Bangsa PAUD is quite good, this can be seen from the indicators, namely by training children (reading, writing, arithmetic, religion and responsibility). answer), remind children if they forget, give appreciation to children, and avoid criticizing children. (2) The behavior shown by the child after getting the habituation method at Cipta Cendikia Bangsa PAUD is personal discipline, social discipline, task discipline and dress discipline. (3) The supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of disciplinary character through the habituation method at Cipta Cendikia Bangsa PAUD are facilities and infrastructure, students who rarely attend school, and the environment of students.

Additional Information: Pendidikan karakter adalah suatu proses pengembangan diri yang mengajarkan tentang tabiat, kepribadian serta perilaku sehingga terbentuk suatu individu yang diharapkan. Karakter disiplin merupakan suatu sikap atau kebiasaan sesorang yang taat dan patuh terhadap peraturan atau tata tertib yang telah berlaku. Karakter disiplin perlu ditanamkan dalam diri setiap insan sejak dini, hal tersebut merupakan awal yang baik bagi setiap pendidikan anak bangsa untuk menjalani proses selanjutnya. Melihat betapa pentingnya karakter disiplin tersebut dapat dikembangkan oleh tutor tersebut dapat diterapkan melalui metode pembiasaan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembentukan karakter disiplin anak usia dini, perilaku disiplin yang ditunjukan anak setelah mendapatkan metode pembiasaan, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin anak melalui metode pembiasaan di PAUD Cipta Cendikia Bangsa Cipondoh Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses pembentukan karakter disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pembiasaan di PAUD Cipta Cendikia Bangsa sudah cukup baik hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikatorindikatornya yaitu dengan cara melatih anak (membaca, menulis, berhitung, beragama dan bertanggung jawab), mengingatkan anak jika lupa, memberikan apresi asi pada anak, dan menghindari mencela pada anak. (2) Perilaku yang ditunjukkan anak setelah mendapatkan metode pembiasaan di PAUD Cipta Cendikia Bangsa yaitu disiplin pribadi, disiplin sosial, disiplin tugas dan disiplin berpakaian. (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin melalui metode pembiasaan di PAUD Cipta Cendikia Bangsa yaitu sarana dan prasana, peserta didik yang jarang masuk sekolah, lingkungan peserta didik.
