Abstract

Liquefaction phenomenon often occurs after earthquake events in several places. Liquefaction of the soil can cause fatal damage to the building above so that the losses incurred are not small. This study aims to determine the potential liquefaction at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, especially in the east cross taxiway area. The method used in this study is the analysis of safety factor values obtained by making a comparison of cyclic resistance ratio (CRR) value with cyclic stress ratio (CSR) value using soil parameters obtained from drill test data of standard penetration test (SPT). The site has the potential of liquefaction when the safety factor less than one and unlicensed to liquefaction when it higher or equal to one. Based on the results of liquefaction analysis by taking an earthquake acceleration value of an average of 0.35 g for Tangerang Area, it can be concluded that the east cross taxiway area of the Soekarno Hatta Airport has the potential liquefaction at an average depth between 6 meters to 8 meters
