Abstract

ABSTRACT Haerudin. 2022. Growth, Yield, and Quality Response of Black Rice (Oryza sativa L. indica) to Treatment of Age and Seeds Number in the Hydroponic Rice-Fish Farming System. Master Thesis. Master's Education Program Postgraduate Agricultural Science Study Program Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Guided by Nurmayulis and Fitria Riany Eris. The research was carried out in Serang City, from May to September 2021. With used Randomized Completely Block Design as factorial with three repetation. The study involved seedling age factor, consisted of 7, 14, and 21 day after sowing (DAS), and the number of seedlings is single, double, and triple seedlings. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves per clump, number of tillers per clump, root length, root dry weight, plant dry weight, number of productive tillers per clump, panicle length, number of branches per panicle, number of grain per panicle, number of filled grain per panicle, number of empty grain per panicle, percentage of filled grain per panicle, the weight of 1000 grain, dry weight of harvested grain per clump, and dry weight of milled grain per clump. Yield quality analysis consisted of moisture, ash, crude protein, crude fat, crude fibre, carbohydrate, and anthocyanin content. Observations of snakehead fish included the growth of absolute weight, rate of daily weight growth, survival, total feed consumption, and feed conversion ratio. The result showed that seedling age had a significant effect on plant height age of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 week after planting (WAP) (the highest average 109,44 cm for seedling age 7 DAS), the number of leaves per clump (age 1 to 8 WAP) (the highest average 325,33 strands for seedling age 21 DAS), the number of tillers per clump (age 1 to 8 WAP) (the highest average 108,44 stems for seedling age of 21 DAS), plant dry weight (highest average 436,67 gram for seedling age of 21 DAS), and the number of productive tillers per clump (the highest average 87,56 stems at the age of 21 DAS). Seeds number significantly affected the number of leaves per clump (age 1 to 8 WAP) (the highest average 294,33 strands, the number of 3 seedlings), the number of tillers per clump (age 1 to 8 WAP) (the highest average 98,11 stems for the number of seedlings 3 stems), the number of grains per panicle (the highest average 216,56 grains in the number of seedlings 1 stem), and the number of filled grains per panicle (the highest average is 173,78 grains in the number of seedlings 1 stem). The study found no interaction between age and the number of seedlings, except for the observation of plant height at 1 and 5 WAP, and the number of leaves per clump at 3 WAP. The results of testing the quality of black rice, namely the water content of 12.58%, ash content of 1,58%, the crude protein content of 13,94%, the crude-fat content of 2,12%, the crude-fibre content of 0,97%, carbohydrate content are 69,78%, and anthocyanin content is 14,05 mg/kg. The snakehead fish has an absolute weight growth of 8,5 g, a daily weight growth rate of 0,06 g per day, survival of 75,2%, total feed consumption of 30,8 kg, and feed conversion ratio of 39,30 g. Faktor yang diteliti umur bibit yaitu: 7, 14, dan 21 hari setelah semai (HSS) dan jumlah bibit yaitu: 1, 2, dan 3 bibit. Parameter yang diamati: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per rumpun, jumlah anakan per rumpun, panjang akar, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, panjang malai, jumlah cabang per malai, jumlah gabah per malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, jumlah gabah hampa per malai, persentase gabah isi per malai, bobot gabah 1000 butir, bobot gabah kering panen per rumpun, dan bobot gabah kering giling per rumpun. Analisis kualitas hasil: uji kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein kasar, kadar lemak kasar, kadar serat kasar, kadar karbohidrat, dan kadar antosianin. Pengamatan ikan gabus: pertumbuhan berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan berat harian, kelangsungan hidup, jumlah konsumsi pakan, dan rasio konversi pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa umur bibit berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, dan 8 minggu setelah tanam (MST) (rata-rata tertinggi 109,44 cm pada umur bibit 7 HSS), jumlah daun per rumpun (umur 1 sampai 8 MST) (rata-rata tertinggi 325,33 helai pada umur bibit 21 HSS), jumlah anakan per rumpun (umur 1 sampai 8 MST) (rata-rata tertinggi 108,44 batang pada umur bibit 21 HSS), bobot kering tanaman (rata-rata tertinggi 436,67 g pada umur bibit 21 HSS), dan jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun (rata-rata tertinggi 87,56 batang pada umur bibit 21 HSS). Jumlah bibit berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun per rumpun (umur 1 sampai 8 MST) (rata-rata tertinggi 294,33 helai pada jumlah bibit 3 batang), jumlah anakan per rumpun (umur 1 sampai 8 MST) (rata-rata tertinggi 98,11 batang pada jumlah bibit 3 batang), jumlah gabah per malai (rata-rata tertinggi 216,56 butir pada jumlah bibit 1 batang), dan jumlah gabah isi per malai (rata-rata tertinggi 173,78 butir pada jumlah bibit 1 batang). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara umur dan jumlah bibit, kecuali pada pengamatan tinggi tanaman umur 1 dan 5 MST, dan jumlah daun per rumpun umur 3 MST. Hasil pengujian kualitas padi beras hitam yaitu kadar air 12,58%, kadar abu 1,58%, kadar protein kasar 13,94%, kadar lemak kasar 2,12%, kadar serat kasar 0,97%, kadar karbohidrat 69,78%, dan kadar antosianin 14,05 mg/kg. Hasil pengamatan ikan gabus yaitu pertumbuhan berat mutlak 8,5 g, laju pertumbuhan berat harian 0,06 g per hari, kelangsungan hidup 75,2%, jumlah konsumsi pakan 30,8 kg, dan rasio konversi pakan 39,30 g.
