Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and career planning of class XI students at La Tahzan Munjul Vocational School in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a correlation research method with a quantitative approach, the object of research is 52 students of class XI. Questionnaire data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it shows that self-concept and career planning get a value of rxy = 0.516 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a positive contribution between self-concept and career planning, which means that the greater the self-concept students have, the less career planning they have. The magnitude of the contribution of self-concept to the career planning of students at La Tahzan Munjul Vocational School is 26.6%.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perencanaan karir siswa kelas XI di SMK La Tahzan Munjul tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, objek penelitian adalah 52 siswa kelas XI. Teknik pengumpulan data kuisioner berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri dan perencanaan karir memperoleh nilai rxy= 0.516 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.000 (p < 0.05). Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada kontribusi positif antara konsep diri terhadap perencanaan karir yang berarti bahwa semakin besar konsep diri yang dimiliki siswa maka semakin berkurang perencanaan karirnya. Sumbangan efektif konsep diri terhadap perencanaan karir siswa di SMK La Tahzan Munjul sebesar 26.6 %.
