Abstract

Clean air is one thing that really supports human health. A place to live with clean air will prevent humans from various kinds of respiratory disorders. Humans cannot directly detect the presence of pollutant gases that can endanger health and safety because not all gaseous pollutants can be smelled by the human sense of smell. Therefore, a real-time internet-based air quality monitoring system is needed from things that function to detect and monitor gaseous pollutants that can harm humankind. Parameters measured based on ISPU (Air Pollution Standards Index) include dust or Particulate Matter (PM10), carbon monoxide (CO) gas, nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3) and sulfur dioxide (SO2). The components used are the ESP32 microcontroller, GP2Y1010AU0F sensor, MICS4514 sensor, MQ131 sensor, MQ136 sensor, LED Dot Matrix P10. When sensor test, each sensor used has an error while sensing the gases, error for the GP2Y1010AU0F (PM10) sensor is 4.72%, MICS4514 for CO with a sensor reading error of 4.55%, MICS4514 for NO2 with a sensor reading error of 1, 40%, MQ131 (O3) with sensor reading error of 1.16% and MQ136 (SO2) with sensor reading error of 1.16%.

Additional Information: Udara bersih merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat mendukung kesehatan manusia. Tempat tinggal dengan udara yang bersih akan menghindarkan manusia dari berbagai macam penyakit gangguan pernafasan. Manusia tidak bisa secara langsung mendeteksi adanya gas-gas polutan yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan ataupun keselamatan karena tidak semua gas polutan dapat tercium oleh indera penciuman manusia. Maka dari itu dibutuhkanlah sistem monitoring tingkat kualitas udara secara real time berbasis Internet of Things yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi dan memonitor gas-gas polutan yang dapat membahayakan umat manusia. Parameter yang diukur berdasarkan ISPU (Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara) meliputi kepekatan debu atau Particulate Matter (PM10), gas Karbon Monoksida (CO), nitrogen dioksida (NO2), Ozon (O3) dan Sulfur Dioksida (SO2). Komponen yang digunakan yaitu mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor GP2Y1010AU0F, sensor MICS4514, sensor MQ131, sensor MQ136 dan Dot Matrix LED P10. Saat pengujian, masing-masing sensor yang digunakan memiliki error pembacaan sensor yaitu untuk sensor PM10 sebesar 4,72%, MICS4514 untuk gas CO dengan error pembacaan sensor sebesar 4,55%, MICS4514 untuk gas NO2 dengan error pembacaan sensor sebesar 1,40%, MQ131 (O3) dengan error pembacaan sensor sebesar 1,16% dan MQ136 (SO2) dengan error pembacaan sensor sebesar 1,16%.
