Abstract
Traffic accident is an event that no one wants because it can cause losses. One of the factors causing traffic accidents is human error. Human error can be affected by cognitive failure and fatigue while driving. Merak Integrated Terminal is one of the main terminals in Cilegon City which provides 15 travel routes. One of the routes with a fairly high level of mobilization is the Merak-Bandung route. Measurements of the cognitive failure rate of driving were carried out using the CFQ (Cognitive Failure Questionnaire) and fatigue levels were measured with the Bourdon Wiersma Test conducted on bus drivers on morning and afternoon shifts. The results showed that the average value of cognitive failure in the morning shift was 48.33 and the day shift was 58.83 with the dominant variable being distractibility. The average values at the level of speed, accuracy and constant on the morning shift before work in a row are 10.17 seconds, 14, and 12.89 seconds and after work is 16.89 seconds, 21, 66.06 seconds. As for the day shift before work, respectively, it is 11.54 seconds, 19, and 14.40 seconds and after work it is 20.77 seconds, 33, and 96.97 seconds. The proposed improvements that can be given are providing drinking water supplies along with snacks for bus drivers, appealing for restrictions on the use of cellphones, imposing restrictions on the maximum quota of passengers and setting rest hours. | Additional Information: | Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan peristiwa yang tidak diinginkan oleh siapapun karena dapat menimbulkan kerugian. Salah satu faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas adalah human error. Human error dapat dipengaruhi oleh kegagalan kognitif dan kelelahan saat mengemudi. Terminal Terpadu Merak merupakan salah satu terminal induk di Kota Cilegon yang menyediakan 15 trayek perjalanan. Salah satu trayek dengan tingkat mobilisasi yang cukup tinggi adalah trayek Merak-Bandung. Pengukuran tingkat kegagalan kognitif mengemudi dilakukan menggunakan CFQ (Cognitive Failure Questionnaire) dan tingkat kelelahan diukur dengan Bourdon Wiersma Test yang dilakukan pada pengemudi bus shift pagi dan siang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kegagalan kognitif pada shift pagi adalah 48.33 dan shift siang adalah 58.83 dengan variabel dominannya adalah distractibility. Nilai rata-rata pada tingkat kecepatan, ketelitian dan konstansi pada shift pagi sebelum bekerja secara berturut-turut adalah 10.17 detik, 14, dan 12.89 detik dan sesudah bekerja adalah 16.89 detik, 21, 66.06 detik. Adapun pada shift siang sebelum bekerja secara berturut-turut adalah 11.54 detik, 19, dan 14.40 detik dan sesudah bekerja adalah 20.77 detik, 33, dan 96.97 detik. Usulan perbaikan yang dapat diberikan yaitu memberikan bekal air minum beserta makanan ringan untuk pengemudi bus, himbauan pembatasan penggunaan handphone, pembatasan kuota maksimal penumpang dan penetapan jam istirahat.
