Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan sebagai variabel dependen dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel intervening pada perusahaan sub sektor Food and Beverages yang terdaftar sebagai emiten di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2009 - 2018. Pada penelitian ini, profitabilitas di proksikan dengan Net Profit Margin (NPM), struktur modal akan di proksikan dengan Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), dan nilai perusahaan akan di proksikan dengan Tobin‟s Q. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh perusahaan sub sektor Food and Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2009 – 2018. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 10 perusahaan dari total populasi sebanyak 28 perusahaan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis analisis jalur (Path Analysis) untuk menganalisis data penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, (2) Struktur Modal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, (3) Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal, (4) Struktur Modal tidak mampu memediasi hubungan pengaruh Profitabilitas terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Kata kunci : Profitabilitas, Struktur Modal, Nilai Perusahaan.

Additional Information:	This research aimed to determine the effect of Profitability to firm value as the dependent variable with capital structure as an intervening variable in the food and beverages sub sector listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange issuers period 2009 – 2018. In this research, profitability will proxied by net profit margin or NPM, capital structure will proxied by debt to asset ratio or DAR, firm value will proxied by Tobin‟s Q. The population used in this study is the entire food and beverages sub�sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009 – 2018. The result of this research showed that: (1) Profitability has positive effect and significant on Firm Value, (2) Capital Structure has negative and significant effect on Firm Value, (3) Profitability has positive effect and significant on Capital Structure, (4) Capital Structure can not mediate the effect of Profitability to Firm Value.
