Abstract

Penelitian ini berorientasi pada permasalahan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring pada materi ikatan kimia sebagai dampak dari fenomena pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Pembelajaran ikatan kimia memuat pemahaman multipel representasi kimia, sehingga dibutuhkan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam mempelajarinya. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan teknologi augment reality yang dapat menampilkan bentuk ikatan kimia secara sub-mikroskopik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kualitas media pembelajaran berbasis android yang diberi nama E-ChemBond. Penelitian R&D (Reaseacrh and Development) digunakan dengan model 4D Thiagarajan (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Data dikumpulkan melalui serangkaian proses validasi. Proses validasi dengan menggunakan instrumen materi dan media yang diberikan kepada 5 orang ahli sesuai bidangnya. Hasil validasi materi dan media dengan teknik analisis Aiken’s menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran E-ChemBond valid. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji terbatas kepada 10 orang siswa SMA. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah persentase rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 91,19% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran EChemBond pada pembelajaran ikatan kimia valid dan layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran daring. Additional Information: This research is oriented to the problem of learning media that students can use during the online learning process on chemical bonding material in the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon in Indonesia. Learning chemical bonds contains multiple understandings of chemical representations, so it is necessary to use learning media to help students learn. One solution to this problem is to develop an Android-based learning media with augmented reality technology that can display sub-microscopic forms of chemical bonds. This research aims to determine the quality of the android-based learning media named E-ChemBond. Research and Development (R&D) used with 4D Thiaragajan models (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Collected data through a series of validation processes. The validation process uses material and media instruments by five experts according to their fields. The results of material and media validation with Aiken's analysis technique show that the E-ChemBond learning media is valid. Therefore, conducted a limited test by ten high school students. The results obtained are the average percentage of student responses of 91.19% concluded as good category. Finally, we conclude that the E-ChemBond learning media in chemical bond learning is valid and suitable for use in the online learning process.
