Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) Mengembangkan trainer PLC Omron CP1E pada mata pelajaran sistem pengendali elektronik di SMKN 4 Kota Serang, (2) Mengetahui tingkat kelayakan trainer PLC Omron CP1E pada mata pelajaran sistem pengendali elektronik di SMKN 4 Kota Serang ditinjau dari aspek Validitas, (3) Mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan trainer PLC pada mata pelajaran sistem pengendali elektronik di SMKN 4 Kota Serang. Penelitian dan pengembangan yang dipakai untuk penelitian ini yaitu Sukmadinata. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Studi pendahuluan, (2) Pengembangan model, (3) Uji model. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa/I kelas XII Teknik Elektronika di SMKN 4 Kota Serang. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu memakai penyebaran angket, observasi dan wawancara, instrumen penelitian yang dipakai berupa angket untuk ahli media, ahli materi dan pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran dan praktikum materi PLC. Hasil dari Tingkat kelayakan media trainer mendapatkan skor 54,6 dengan nilai SBX = 42 maka rentan skor kategori yang didapat adalah “Sangat Layak”, dan tingkat kelayakan materi mendapatkan skor 70,3 dengan nilai SBx = 54 maka rentan skor yang didapat adalah “Sangat Layak”. Tingkat efektivitas media trainer mendapatkan hasil yang sangat signifikan. Hasil penilaian rata-rata siswa pada saat sebelum melakukan pembelajaran dengan trainer dan jobsheet mendapatkan hasil 42,78 dan hasil setelah menggunakan trainer dan jobsheet 80,08, dan diperoleh skor 0,65 pada uji n-gain sebagai tingkat efektivitas trainer di SMKN 4 Kota Serang

| Additional Information: | The objectives of this study were to: (1) develop a trainer PLC Omron CP1E in the subject of electronic control systems at SMKN 4 Kota Serang, (2) Knowing the feasibility level of the trainer PLC Omron CP1E in the subject of electronic control systems at SMKN 4 Kota Serang in terms of validity, (3) Knowing the effectiveness of using trainer PLC in the subject of electronic control systems at SMKN 4 Kota Serang. Research and development used in this study using Sukmadinata. The steps of this research include: (1) Preliminary study, (2) Model development, (3) Model testing. The research subjects were students of class XII Electronic Engineering at SMKN 4 Kota Serang. With data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation and interviews, the research instruments used are questionnaires for media experts, material experts and users. The results of this study are in the form of instructional media that can support the learning process and practical material of the PLC. The results of the feasibility level of the media trainer get a score of 54.6 with an SBX value = 42,so the category score obtained is “Very Worth”, and the material feasibility level gets a score of 70.3 with a SBx value = 54 so the vulnerability score obtained is "Very Worth”. The effectiveness level of the media trainer got very significant results. The results of the average assessment of students before carrying out learning with trainers and job sheets got 42.78 results and 80.08 results after using trainers and job sheets, and obtained a score of 0.65 on the n-gain test as the effective level of trainers at SMKN 4 Kota Attack.
