Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara modernitas dan perubahan perilaku sosial masyarakat Desa Margagiri Kecamatan Bojonegara Kabupaten Serang . Fokus penelitian ini adalah perubahan perilaku masyarakat Desa Margagiri karena adanya modernitas . Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi , metode ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel X ( Modernitas ) dan variabel Y ( Perubahan perilaku sosial ) . Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari masyarakat desa Margagiri sebanyak 6.502 orang . Berdasarkan populasi tersebut peneliti melakukan teknik simple random sampling untuk menetapkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 377 responden . Teknik pengumpulan data penyebaran angket dan dokumentasi . Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Berdasarkan perhitungan software SPSS 24 mendapat hasil bahwa nilai sig 0.252 yang artinya bahwa nilai sig 0.05 , hasil pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jika nilai sig < 0.05 maka Ho di tolak dan Hi diterima sedangkan apabila nilai sig > 0.05 maka Ho di terima dan Hi ditolak , dalam penelitian ini Ho diterima yang artinya tidak Terdapat Hubungan antara Modernitas dan Perubahan Perilaku Sosial di Desa Margagiri Kecamatan Bojonegara Kabupaten Serang . Perhitungan Pearson Corelation untuk Variabel X yang menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memberi respon setuju bahwa di desanya terjadi modemitas , variabel Y menunjukkan bahwa perubahan perilaku pada masyarakat desa Margagiri termasuk dalam kategori sangat lemah . Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa modernitas sebenarnya terjadi pada masyarakat desa Margagiri tetapi perilaku masyarakatnya belum mengalami perubahan yang signifikan atau perubahan tersebut sudah terjadi dan berlangsung beberapa waktu lampau yaitu kurang lebih 10 tahun yang lalu atau awal muncul modernitas di desa Margagiri sehingga sekarang sudah berada pada fase yang stabil .

The focus of this research is changes in the behavior of the people of Margagiri Village due to modernity . The approach used in this research is the quantitative approach with the correlation method , this method is used to determine the relationship between variable X ( Modernity ) and variable Y ( change in social behavior ) . The population of this study consisted of 6,502 Margagiri villagers . Based on this population , the researcher used simple random sampling technique to determine the research sample of 377 respondents . The results of this study are as follows : Based on the calculation of SPSS 24 software , the results show that the sig value is 0.252 , which means that the sig value is > 0.05 , the results of the discussion in this study indicate that if the sig value < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted , whereas if the sig value > 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Hi is rejected , in this study Ho is accepted , which means that there is no relationship between modernity and changes in social behavior in Margagiri Village . Bojonegara District . Serang Regency . The Pearson Correlation calculation for Variable X shows that the community responds agreeing that modernity occurs in their village , variable Y shows that behavior changes in the Margagiri village community are in the very weak category . This condition indicates that modernity actually occurs in the Margagiri village community but the behavior of the community has not undergone significant changes or these changes have occurred and took place some time ago , namely approximately 10 years ago or the beginning of modernity in Margagiri village so that it is now in a phase that is stable .
