Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pengasuhan orangtua terhadap perencanaan karir mahasiswa, Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA) semester VI. Penelitian dilakukan di Kampus C UNTIRTA, dengan jumlah 292 reponden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitan menggunakan 2 instrumen kuesioner, yaitu instumen perencanaan karir dan pengasuhan orangtua. alat ukur dalam penelitian ini dilihat melalui aspek-aspek dalam kuisioner. Aspek dalam instrumen perencanaan karir adalah perencanaan karir, eksplorasi karir, pengetahuan tentang membuat keputusan karir, pengetahuan tentang dunia kerja, pengetahuan tentang kelompok pekerjaan yang lebih disukai, realisasi keputusan karir, dan orientasi karir. Sedangkan aspek dalam instrumen pengasuhan orangtua ada dua yaitu kontrol orangtua dan kehangantan orangtua. Data yang diperoleh dari kuisioner berupa nilai skor, untuk menentukan skor pilihan jawaban kuisioner menggunakan skala Likert. Validitas yang digunakan ialah validitas isi dan validitas konstruksi. Adapun uji validitas instrumen dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan scale reliability. Uji reliabilits dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penghitungan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat perencanaan karir yang dimiliki mahasiswa FKIP semster IV di UNTIRTA berada pada kategori sedang dengan presentasi 68%, hal ini sejalan dengan perolehan kategori pengasuhan orangtua yang berada pada kategori sedang dengan presentasi 72% mahasiswa. adapun hasil uji validitas untuk perencanaan karir diperoleh nilai sebanyak 1,00 dan uji validitas pengasuhan orangtua diperoleh nilai sebesar 1,00 sehingga dinyatakan valid, selanjutnya nilai reliabilitas diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,916 untuk perencanaan karir dan nilai sebesar 0,821 untuk pengasuhan orangtua. Setelah mengetahui tingkat perencanaan karir mahasiswa maka rancangan program dibuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diketahui dari hasil penelitian yang telah didapat.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the contribution of parenting to student career planning. The method used in this study is the correlation method with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were all sixth semester students of the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This research was conducted at Campus C, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, with a total of 292 respondents. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire instrument. There were two instruments used in this research, namely career planning and parenting instruments. measuring tools in this study can be seen through the aspects in the questionnaire. Aspects in the career planning instrument are career planning, career exploration, knowledge of making career decisions, knowledge of the world of work, knowledge of preferred occupational groups, realization of career decisions, and career orientation. Meanwhile, there are two aspects in the parenting instrument, namely parental control and parental warmth. The data obtained from the questionnaire is in the form of a score. Meanwhile, to determine the score for the choice of answers to the questionnaire using a Likert scale. In this study, the validity used was the content validity and construction validity. The validity test of the instrument in this study was conducted using scale reliability. The reliability test in this study used Alpha Cronbach's calculation. The results of this study indicate that the level of career planning of FKIP semster IV students at UNTIRTA is in the medium category with a presentation of 68%, this is in line with the acquisition of the parenting category who is in the medium category with a presentation of 72% of students. As for the results of the validity test for career planning, it was obtained a value of 1.00 and the validity test of parenting was 1.00 so it was declared valid, then the reliability value was obtained a value of 0.916 for career planning and a value of 0.821 for parenting. After knowing the level of student career planning, the program design is made according to the known needs of the research results that have been obtained.
