Abstract
Sistem Informasi Perbenihan (Si Benih) merupakan inovasi di sektor pertanian provinsi Sumatera Selatan, inovasi tersebut berupa website sebagai upaya membentuk sarana komunikasi dan pelayanan tanpa ada batasan waktu dan tempat bagi petani penangkar benih. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik dari Si Benih, sumber informasi yang digunakan dalam penyebaran pesan-pesan inovasi dan dukungan lingkungan dalam penerapan inovasi yang dilakukan oleh petani. Penelitian ini terletak pada Kabupaten Banyuasin dan Kabupaten Oku Timur yang merupakan sentra lumbung pangan dan pengguna Si Benih terbesar di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori difusi inovasi dari Everett M Rogers. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada 72 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, bahwa tingkat penerapan inovasi Si Benih masuk pada kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 59.7%, berdasarkan hasil uji t, variabel karakteristik inovasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap penerapan inovasi Si Benih dengan nilai thitung > ttabel, yaitu 3,418 > 1,65, sumber informasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap penerapan inovasi Si Benih dengan nilai thitung > ttabel, yaitu 3,631 > 1,65, dukungan lingkungan memiliki pengaruh terhadap penerapan inovasi Si Benih dengan nilai thitung > ttabel, yaitu 2,690 > 1,65. Sehingga ditarik kesimpulan bahwa variabel karakteristik inovasi, variabel sumber informasi, dan dukungan lingkungan mempengaruhi variabel penerapan inovasi website Si Benih.

| Additional Information: | The Seed Information System (Si Benih) is an innovation in the agricultural sector of South Sumatra province, this innovation is in the form of a website as an effort to establish a means of communication and service without any time and place restrictions for seed breeder farmers. This study was designed to determine the characteristics of the seed, the source of information used in disseminating innovation messages and environmental support in the application of innovation by farmers. This research is located in Banyuasin Regency and East Oku Regency, which are the centers of food storage and the largest Si Benih user in South Sumatra Province. This study uses the diffusion theory of innovation from Everett M Rogers. The approach in this research is a quantitative survey method, with data obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 72 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of application of Si Benih's innovation is in the medium category, which is 59.7%. has an influence on the application of Si seed innovation with the value of tcount> ttable, which is 3.631> 1.65, environmental support has an influence on the application of Si Benih innovation with a value of tcount> ttable, namely 2.690> 1.65. So it can be concluded that the variable innovation characteristics, information source variables, and environmental support affect the variables of the innovation application of the Seed website.
