Abstract

Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) senantiasa ikut ndil dalam memajukan kegiatan keilmuan dan mengembangkan kampus, demi meningkatkan standar pendidikan dan kualitas universitas serta memenuhi visi misi universitas. Jumlah mahasiswa tiap tahunnya akan cenderung bertambah, hal ini tentu menimbulkan ketidakseimbangan antara jumlah mahasiswa dan ketersediaan ruang kelas yang ada di kampus, maka dari itu pembangunan ruang kelas baru diperlukan untuk mengimbangi peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa. Pembangunan Gedung Fakultas Teknik Untirta merupakan salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendidikan serta mencukupi interaksi kegiatan mahasiswa, dosen, dan sivitas akademika lainnya di Kampus Untirta. Penelitian ini menganalisa kebutuhan ruang kelas, ruang jurusan dan laboratorium dengan cara memproyeksikan jumlah mahasiswa pada 10 tahun ke depan serta mendapatkan data kebutuhan masing-masing jurusan. Hasil analisa pada penelitian ini mendapatkan jumlah mahasiswa pada tahun ajaran 2029/2030 sebanyak 4040 dengan tambahan 540 mahasiswa dari rencana penambahan prodi menjadi 4580 mahasiswa. Kebutuhan ruang kelas yang mengacu pada BSNP dan Standar Mutu FT didapatkan sebanyak 125 ruang kelas kapasitas 40 dan 13 ruang kelas kapasitas 60, dengan total luas gedung 19674 m 2 . Sedangkan total luas kebutuhan ruang jurusan dan laboratorium sebanyak 45360 m . Hasil Penelitian ini selanjutnya dijadikan dasar bagi pembangunan jurusan di Kampus Fakultas Teknik Untirta.

Additional Information: The Faculty of Engineering, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) always takes part in advancing scientific activities and developing the campus, in order to improve the educational standards and university quality and also to fulfill the university's vision and mission. The number of students each year will tend to increase, this certainly creates an imbalance between the number of students and the availability of classrooms on campus, therefore the construction of new classrooms is needed to compensate the increasing in the number of students. The construction of the Faculty of Engineering Building is one of the efforts to improve the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as interaction between students, lecturers and other academicians on the Campus. This study analyzes the needs of classrooms, department rooms and laboratories by projecting the number of students in the next 10 years and obtaining data on the needs of each department in Faculty of Engineering Untirta. The results of the analysis in this study found that the number of students in term 2029/2030 is 4040 with an additional 540 students from the Faculty’s plan to add new programs to each departments,becoming 4580 students. The room necessity refers to the BSNP and Faculty of Engineering Quality Standards. The room necessity is 125 classrooms with the capacity of 40 persons and 13 classrooms with the capacity of 60 persons, with a total building area of 19674 m 2 , while the total area needed for departmental and laboratory space is 45360 m 2 . The results of this study are then used as the basis for the development of departments at the Faculty of Engineering Campus. Keyword: Room Necessity, Campus, Spatial Planning
