Abstract

Plastik merupakan bahan dasar yang sering digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan terutama rumah tangga, di sisi lain plastik juga memiliki dampak buruk karena sifatnya yang sulit terurai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu solusi seperti tempat sampah yang dapat menukarkan sampah dengan mata uang digital untuk memotivasi masyarakat agar membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sebuah tempat sampah berbasis IoT. Pada penelitian ini, dirancang sebuah tempat sampah pintar berbasis IoT dengan modul NodeMCU LOLIN V3, loadcell 5 kg serta LCD monitor 16x2. Sistem ini juga terdapat website yang dapat diakses oleh pengguna sebelum membuang sampahnya. Pengujian-pengujian yang dilakukan pada alat ini yaitu : pengujian perangkat lunak, pengujian sensor, pengujian keseluruhan dan pengujian user acceptance. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa pengujian keseluruhan sudah sesuai algoritma dan pada pengujian software, sistem mampu memvalidasi input.

Additional Information: Plastic is a basic material that is often used for various purposes, especially households, on the other hand plastic also has a bad impact because it is difficult to decompose. Therefore, a solution is needed such as a trash can that can exchange waste for digital currency to motivate people to dispose of garbage properly. The purpose of this research is to design an IoT-based trash can. In this research, a smart trash can based on IoT was designed with NodeMCU LOLIN V3 module, 5kg load cell and 16x2 LCD monitor. This system also has a website that can be accessed by users before disposing of their trash. The tests carried out on this tool are: software testing, sensor testing, overall testing and user acceptance testing. The test results show that the overall test is in accordance with the algorithm and in software testing, the system is able to validate the input. Keywords: IoT, Smart Trash Bin, Plastic Waste
