Additional Information: Saline Tolerance Indonesian Tilapia (SALINA) is the result of a cross between RedNIFI and SULTANA varieties of tilapia. SALINA can survive on high salinity which of course can be attacked by several diseases which among others are caused by bacteria. One of the bacteria that can live at high salinity and as a cause of death in marine fish is Vibrio alginolyticus which can be identified using the DNA barcoding method. The purpose of this study is to identify Vibrio alginolyticus bacteria in SALINA tilapia in aquaculture using the rpOX gene. The genome samples used were 85, consisting of 23 samples from Indramayu, 26 samples from Karawang and 36 samples from Balongan. The target band in the identification of vibrio alginolyticus bacteria was 1199bp. The research method consisted of PCR amplification, electrophoresis, DNA multiplication, purification and sequencing. Vibrio alginolyticus bacteria found in aquaculture in the Balongan and Karawang areas have a degree of similarity 91-100% of the results of sequencing with good purity.
