Abstract
Head injury is a traumatic disorder of brain function with or without interstitial bleeding in the brain substance without being followed by interruption of brain continuity (Muttaqin, 2015) ineffective airway clearance, impaired ventilator weaning, impaired spontaneous ventilation, ineffective breathing pattern, risk of aspiration. Ineffective airway clearance is the inability to clear the secret or airway obstruction to maintain a patent airway. This research method uses a descriptive method conducted by the researcher in the form of a case study using two clients as respondents. The data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews, physical examination, and study documentation which were carried out from January to June 2022 at the Banten Provincial Hospital. Nursing care interventions were given for 3x24 in head injury patients to maintain the airway. Keywords: head injury emergency nursing care, ineffective airway clearance

| Additional Information: | Cedera kepala merupakan suatu gangguan traumatik dari fungsi otak yang disertai atau tanpa disertai perdarahan interstitial dalam substansi otak tanpa diikuti terputusnya kontinuitas otak (Muttaqin, 2015) bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif ,gangguan penyapihan ventilator,gangguan ventilasi spontan,pola nafas tidak efektif,resiko aspirasi.Bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif adalah ketidak mampuan membersihkan secret atau Obstruksi jalan napas untuk mempertahankan jalan napas tetap paten Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam bentuk studi kasus dengan menggunakan dua klien sebagai responden. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, pemeriksaan fisik, dan studi dokumentasi yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Juni 2022 di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Intervensi asuhan keperawatan di berikan selama 3x24 pada pasien cedera kepala untuk mempertahankan jalan nafas.
