Additional Information: Orchids are one of the profitable ornamental plants that provide an aesthetic that attracts many people and can increase the country's foreign exchange. Phalaenopsis orchids are included in the Orchidaceae family which contains about 60 species. The number of varieties is around 140, 60 of which are in Indonesia. In 2018 the production of all plants in the ornamental plant group has increased. However currently, orchids in Indonesia are experiencing scarcity To protect diversity, it is necessary to preserve, multiply plants, develop new superior varieties and local varieties of orchids in Indonesia, one of which is using tissue culture in vitro and in vivo. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the combination of basic media types and gibberellin (GA3) on the growth and enlargement of the Phalaenopsis Kaila Alba Agrihorti orchid shoots by In Vitro. The study was conducted in January - May 2020 at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of the Ornamental Plants Research Institute. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors with 6 replications. The first factor is the composition of the basic media (A) with 4 levels of A1 (½ MSFV), A2 (2 g / l Hyponex Fertilizer), A3 (4 g / l Hyponex Fertilizer), A4 (6 g / l Hyponex Fertilizer), while the factors second is the provision of GA3 (B) with 3 levels of B1 (0 mg / l), B2 (1 mg / l), B3 (2 mg / l), so there are 12 experimental treatments. The results showed that the growth and enlargement of the Phalaenopsis Kaila Alba Agrihorti orchid shoots showed a very significant effect on the concentration of Gibberellin (GA3) B1 (0 mg / l) for all observation parameters, except for weeks 1 and 2 in all parameters showed no significant effect, whereas in the basic media treatment (foliar fertilizer) showed no significant difference, but the best results were at ½ MSFV media composition, there was no interaction between base media (foliar fertilizer) and gibberellin on all observed parameters.
