Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to identify consumer characteristics, analyze consumer preferences and identify attributes that consumers consider Radja Sop Duren Kaloran Brimob Serang City products. The research method used is survey method and data analysis used is Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) with 50 respondents. The results of the characteristics of respondents based on gender were 52% male, based on age 48% aged 21-25 years, based on the latest education level of 60% senior high school, based on marital status 72% were unmarried, based on the work of 44% students. Consumer preferences show that each product has its own advantages and disadvantages, durian soup ie cream has a preference for taste attributes, oreo duren soup has a high preference for aroma attributes, and original durian soup has a high preference for packaging and color attributes, for price attributes. does not have a high preference because the price offered by each product does not have a significant difference.
