| Additional Information: | Economic development is a process of increasing population income per capita followed by fundamental changes in the economic structure of a country. The agricultural sector is a sector that reflects an important role in a country's economy but tends to decline in line with the increase in per capita income which reflects a process of structural transformation. Cilegon City has an area of 175.51 Km2 . The purposes of this research are to identify the change of economic structure in Cilegon City, analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector on GRDP of Cilegon City and identify agricultural commodities of food crops and horticulture that act as agricultural commodities in each sub-district in Cilegon City. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data used are secondary data supported by primary data. The result shows that during 2014- 2019 there have been changes the economic structure of Cilegon City which has experienced a shift from the primary sector to secondary and tertiary sectors. The contribution of the agricultural sector to the GRDP of Cilegon City in the 2014- 2019 period was 0.25%, 0.25%, 0.25%, 0.24%, 0.23% and 0.21% respectively. The agricultural commodities of food crops and horticultural crops from each sub�district in Cilegon City are different. Hopefully, the government will be able to optimize the potential to maintain the agricultural sector in Cilegon City.
