Additional Information: | Marketing plays an important role in the agribusiness system. The problems in the chili marketing chain are the distribution channels that are still long and the trade system channels for distribution of uneven margins so that farmers do not get optimal added value. The purpose of this study was to determine how the marketing chain, the amount of costs, margins, profits and marketing efficiency of curly red chilies in Baros Village, Baros District. This type of research is descriptive analysis research with a quantitative approach. The technique of determining the research location was done purposively. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling) and snowball sampling methods (snowball sampling). The results of this study indicate that there are three marketing chains of curly red chilies in Baros Village. The lowest marketing cost is found in the second marketing chain, namely Rp. 1,259.1 / Kg. The highest marketing margin is found in the third marketing chain, namely Rp. 24,100 / Kg. The highest marketing profit is found in the second marketing chain, namely Rp. 21,989.1 / Kg. The lowest technical efficiency is found in the marketing chain II 93.9. The highest economic efficiency is found in marketing chain II of 16.8, so that marketing chain I is the most efficient marketing chain Key words: curly red chilies, marketing analysis | |||||||||
