Abstract
Metode Iqro’ adalah suatu metode membaca Al-Qur'an yang menekankan langsung pada latihan membaca. Metode Iqro’ ini dianggap sangat praktis dan mudah dipelajari terutama untuk anak-anak sehingga mereka dapat mudah mengenal huruf-huruf hijahiyyah dengan mudah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun yang berjumlah 8 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Validasi data dilakukan dengan cara perpanjang keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, member check, analisis kasus, diskusi teman sejawat, dan kecukupan referensial. Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa: 1) penerapan metode Iqro’ dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca di PG & TKIT Villa Madani, Cilegon-Banten sudah berjalan baik. 2) kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an terutama awal huruf hijaiyyah anak usia 4-5 tahun di TKIT Villa Madani, Cilegon belum berjalan dengan baik.

Additional Information: | The iqro’ method is a method of reading the Qur’an that emphasizes directly reading exercises. The Iqro 'method is considered very practical and easy to learn, especially for children so that they can easily recognize hijahiyyah letters easily. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 8 children aged 4-5 years. Data collection techniques through observation, field notes, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Data validation was done by extending participation, observation persistence, triangulation, member checks, case analysis, peer discussion, and referential adequacy. The results of data analysis state that: 1) the application of the iqro’ method in improving reading skills at PG & TKIT Villa Madani, Cilegon-Banten has been going well. 2) the ability to read Al-Qur'an, especially the beginning of the hijaiyyah letters of children aged 4-5 years at TKIT Villa Madani, Cilegon, has not been going well. | |||||||||
