Abstract

Pengembangan alat peraga praktikum viskositas telah dirancang dengan menggunakan metode Falling Ball Viscometer (FBV). Tabung yang digunakan berukuran sedang dengan panjang 80 cm dan diameter 50,8 mm. Alat ukur dilengkapi dengan dua sistem sensor yaitu reed switch magnetic sensor magnet. Data waktu tempuh bola magnet yang direkam oleh alat penghitung berupa mikrokontroler Arduino Uno untuk kemudian ditampilkan dalam bentuk nilai waktu tempuh pada Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) pada alat penghitung waktu viskositas. Alat peraga dilengkapi dengan Panduan Pengoperasian (manual book) dan Lembar Kerja Praktikum (LKP). Hasil validasi media media mendapatkan perolean nilai skor rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 82,1%. Nilai validasi materi dan uji terbatas didapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 87,9% dan 81,4%. Nilai validasi kelayakan alat menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga praktikum viskositas yang telah dirancang bekerja dengan baik dan dapat digunakan untuk menentukan nilai viskositas fluida kental sehingga layak sebagai alat bantu praktikum pada pembelajaran materi viskositas.

Additional Information: The Development of viscosity practicum trainer has been designed using the Falling Ball Viscosity (FBV) method. The tube used is medium size with a length of 80 cm and a diameter of 50.8 mm. The measuring instrument is equipped with two sensor systems, namely a reed switch magnetic magnet sensors. The magnetic ball time fall data recorded by the counter in the form of an Arduino Uno microcontroller then displayed in the time period value on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The visual aid is equipped with an Operating Guide (manual book) and a Practicum Worksheet. The results of the media validation obtained an average feasibility score of 82.1%, value of material validation and limited test obtained an average score of 87.9% and 81.4%. The value of the feasibility validation tools shows that the viscosity practicum props have been designed work well and can be used to determine the viscosity value, so that it is feasible as a practical tool on viscosity learning material.
