Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai konsentrasi belajar siswa dan adiksi media sosial instagram serta membuat rancangan program bimbingan belajar untuk meningkatkan kosentrasi belajar siswa dan mengurangi adiksi media sosial instagram pada siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 120 siswa dari kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kota Serang. Penelitian mengenai konsentrasi belajar berdasarkan dari 7 aspek yaitu, pemusatan pemikiran, motivasi, rasa khawatir, perasaan tertekan, gangguan pemikiran, gangguan kepanikan. Selanjutnya penelitian tentang adiksi media sosial Instagram berdasarkan dengan 6 aspek yaitu, salience, mood modification, tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, conflict, relapse. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu penyebaran instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian meunjukan bahwa konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kota Serang berada dalam kategori sedang sebesar 83%, kategori tinggi dengan 12% dan 5% pada kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian pada adiksi media sosial Instagram siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kota Serang berada dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase 70%, kategori tinggi 13% dan kategori rendah 13%. Setelah mengetahui tingkat konsentrasi belajar dan adiksi media sosial instagram pada siswa, selanjutnya meranc ang program yang dibuat berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan.

Additional Information: This study aims to determine the description of student learning concentration and Instagram social media addiction and to design a tutoring program to increasestudent learning concentration and reduce Instagram social media addiction in students. This type of research is descriptive research. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 120 students from class VIIISMPN 1 Serang City. Research on learning concentration is based on 7 aspects,namely, concentration of thought, motivation, worry, feeling depressed, thinking disorders, panic disorders. Furthermore, research on Instagram social media addiction is based on 6 aspects, namely, salience, mood modification, tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, conflict, relapse. The data collection technique used was the distribution of the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The dataanalysis technique used quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the learning concentration of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Serang City wasin the medium category at 83%, the high category with 12% and 5% in the lowcategory. The results of research on Instagram social media addiction class VIIISMPN 1 Serang City students are in the medium category with a percentage of70%, high category 13% and low category 13%. After knowing the level of learning concentration and Instagram social media addiction in students, then designing aprogram that is based on the results of the research that has been done.
