Abstract
Provinsi Banten merupakan daerah yang sesuai untuk pengembangan tanaman jagung. Pengelolaan pertanian di Banten masih bersifat tradisional dan produksinya masih relatif rendah, sedangkan permintaannya kebutuhan akan jagung semakin meningkat untuk tiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan input Pupuk organik, Pupuk Urea, Pupuk NPK, Tenaga Kerja dan Populasi Tanaman terhadap produksi jagung baik secara parsial maupun simultan dan menganalisis efisiensi produksi antara benih jagung hibrida umum 2 dan umum 3 di Provinsi Banten. Responden petani jagung hibrida pada saat penelitian menggunakan benih jagung hibrida umum 2 (varietas NK 212 dan Bisi 18) dan umum 3 (varietas Bisi 226 dan A6), keduanya merupakan jenis jagung hibrida silang tunggal (single croos). Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan cara sengaja (purposive sampling) dengan memperhatikan karakteristik yang dimiliki calon responden yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Lokasi penelitian berada di wilayah penghasil jagung yaitu Kabupaten Pandeglang, Kabupaten Serang dan Kabupaten Lebak, total responden sebanyak 80 orang. Hasil Peneltian antara lain (1) Pengaruh input produksi terhadap produksi jagung pipil kering secara parsial pada jagung hibrida umum 2, penggunaan pupuk organic (X1), Pupuk urea (X2), pupuk NPK (X3), tenaga kerja (X4) dan populasi tanaman (X5) mempengaruhi produksi jagung pipilan 27,7 persen sedangkan sisanya 72,3 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam variabel penelitian, sedangkan pada jagung hibrida umum 3 mempengaruhi produksi jagung pipilan 59,7 persen sedangkan sisanya 40,3 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam variabel penelitian, pada jagung hibrida umum 2 dan jagung hibrida umum 3, pengaruh simultan penggunaan faktor produksi menghasilkan pengaruh secara serempak terhadap produksi jagung pipil kering, dan (2) Efisiensi ekonomi benih pada jagung hibrida umum 2 dan jagung hibrida umum 3, keseluruhan input produksi tidak efisien, hal ini diakibatkan penggunaan input produksi melebihi optimal sehingga perlu dikurangi.

Agricultural management in Banten is still traditional in nature and production is still relatively low, while the demand for corn is increasing every year. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the use of organic fertilizer input, Urea fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, labor and plant population on corn production both partially and simultaneously and to analyze the production efficiency between general 2 and general 3 hybrid maize seeds in Banten Province,. Respondents of hybrid maize farmers at the time of the study used common 2 (NK 212 and Bisi 18) and 3 common (Bisi 226 and A6) hybrid maize seeds, both of which were single croos. Determination of respondents is done by purposive sampling by taking into account the characteristics of the prospective respondent in accordance with the research objectives. The research location is in the maize�producing areas, namely Pandeglang, Serang and Lebak districts, with a total of 80 respondents. The results of the study included (1) The effect of production inputs on partial dry corn production in general hybrid maize 2, use of organic fertilizers (X1), urea fertilizer (X2), NPK fertilizer (X3), labor (X4) and plant population. (X5) affects the production of shelled maize 27.7 percent while the remaining 72.3 percent is influenced by other factors not included in the research variable, while general hybrid maize 3 affects the production of shelled maize 59.7 percent while the remaining 40.3 percent is influenced by factors Other things that were not included in the research variables, for common hybrid maize 2 and general hybrid maize 3, the simultaneous effect of using production factors had a simultaneous effect on dry maize production, and (2) the economic efficiency of seeds in common hybrid maize 2 and general hybrid maize 3, the overall production input is inefficient, this is because the use of production input exceeds the optimal so that it needs to be reduced. .
