Additional Information: This research was aimed to investigate teaching English by implementing blended learning to improve students reading comprehension skill and vocabulary building. This research used quantitative experimental design. Sample of this research was the first grade of senior high school in boarding school in Anyer which consisted of 28 students and divided into two classes, experiment class and control class. The experiment class was given a treatment by implementing blended learning, while the control class was given a treatment by using offline learning. The data were obtained by conducting pre-test and post-test from both classes. This study found that score from both classes was indicated the same improvement based on the t-test score from each class. T-test result on reading comprehension score on control class was -19,483 while t test on vocab test was -13,38. Both t test score < T table which means there was improvement. However, the n-gain score on the experimental classroom showed that there was a significant improvement, because the result of n gain score were 60,07% for reading skill comprehension and 58% for vocabulary building skill, while the n-gain score from the classroom were not exceed 50% which indicated no significant improvement. Based on the quantitative data analysis, this research concluded that blended learning was improving students reading comprehension skill and vocabulary skill significantly.
