Abstract

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) dan Automatic Main Failure (AMF) adalah alat yang akan menghidupkan genset untuk mensuplai ke beban ketika sumber listrik PLN padam serta mematikan Genset ketika sumber listrik PLN kembali menyala. Dalam penelitian ini, dirancang suatu alat ATS & AMF untuk arus dengan kapasitas 32A. Perancangan ATS-AMF ini menggunakan modul Deep Sea (DSE) 4520 yang mendukung operasi transfer atau pemindahan beban, kendali kualitas catu daya, sensor dan monitor gangguan Genset. Nilai tegangan output PLN yang didapat pada pengujian 3 fasa yaitu, R-S 410V, S-T 409V, dan T-R 409V. Sedangkan untuk tegangan output 3 fasa genset yaitu R-S 404V, S-T 404V, dan T-R 405V, Untuk nilai frekuensi dari sumber PLN dan Genset sebesar 49,9 Hz. Hasil pengujian menunjukan modul DSE 4520 bekerja dengan baik untuk sistem kendali ATS maupun AMF mode otomatis.

Additional Information: Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and Automatic Main Failure (AMF) are devices that turn on the generator to supply the load when the PLN power source goes out and turn off the generator when the PLN power source comes back on. In this study, an ATS & AMF device was designed for current with a capacity of 32A. The ATS-AMF design uses the Deep Sea (DSE) 4520 module which supports load transfer or transfer operations, power supply quality control, generator interference sensors and monitors. The value of the PLN output voltage obtained in the 3 phase test, namely, R-S 410V, S-T 409V, and T-R 409V. Whereas for the 3 phase generator output voltage, namely R-S 404V, S-T 404V, and T-R 405V, for the frequency value from the PLN and Genset sources is 49.9 Hz.
