Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul ipa berbasis pendekatan scientific untuk pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang dikembangkan mendapat penilaian yang layak dari pakar terhadap minat belajar siswa pada tema 3 peduli terhadap makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 3 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV-C Sejumlah 44 siswa dengan rincian 30 siswa pada uji coba terbatas. Jenis penelitian ini mengacu pada model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Model ini terdiri dari 6 tahap yaitu analisis masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain dan uji coba produk .Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembaran angket untuk validasi media oleh dosen dan lembaran angket siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan kualitas modul ipa berbasis pendekatan scientific yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori sangat layak dengan persentase 87% dari ahli media, kategori sangat layak dengan persentase 84% dari 2 ahli materi, dan 80% dari ahli bahasa. Respon siswa terhadap modul ipa berbasis pendekatan scientific pada uji coba dengan 30 responden sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dan minat belajar siswa dengan penggunaan modul ipa berbasis pendekatan scientific dapat dikatakan siswa sangat minat belajar dengan penggunaan modul dengan persentase 96% dengan kategori baik.

Additional Information: This study aims to determine the feasibility of IPA modules based on a scientific approach to learning natural science in the fourth grade elementary school that was developed received a proper assessment from experts on students' interest in learning on theme 3 caring for living things. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 3 with research subjects in class IV-C A total of 44 students with 30 students in limited trials. This type of research refers to the Borg and Gall model modified by Sugiyono. This model consists of 6 stages, namely problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision and product trials. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets for media validation by lecturers and student questionnaire sheets. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of the IPA module based on the scientific approach developed is included in the very feasible category with a percentage of 87% from media experts, a very feasible category with a percentage of 84% from 2 material experts, and 80% from linguists. Student responses to science modules based on a scientific approach to the trial with 30 respondents by 96% with a very good category. And students' interest in learning by using science-based modules based on the scientific approach can be said that students are very interested in learning with the use of modules with a percentage of 96% in either category.
