Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas IV. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Cibomo Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2020-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Reseacrch and Development (R&D). Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran yang memuat materi memahami hubungan simbol dengan makna sila-sila Pancasila pada mata pelajaran PPKn Sekolah Dasar kelas IV. Media pembelajaran ini merupakan media komik yang dicetak dengan berukuran A5. Menguji kelayakan dalam media ini, dilakukan uji coba validasi ahli. Validasi ahli dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli pendidikan dengan subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Cibomo Kota Serang dengan subjek penelitian 20 siswa. Dari data yang diperoleh, media komik ini mendapatkan rata-rata skor validasi ahli sebesar 94,1% sehingga mendapat kategori “sangat layak”, dan mendapat rata-rata skor sebesar 94,4% dari respon peserta didik dan masuk dalam kriteria “sangat layak”, selanjutnya memperoleh nilai sebesar 94% dari respon pendidik yang mendapatkan kriteria “sangat layak”. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik pada mata pelajaran PPKn materi memahami hubungan simbol dengan makna sila-sila Pancasila ini layak dan dapat dipergunakan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Additional Information: This study aims to develop comic learning media for grade IV in elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN Cibomo, Serang City, on academic year 2020-2021. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The product which is produced from this research is in the form of learning media which contains material of understanding the relationship between symbols and the meaning of Pancasila principles in the fourth grade of elementary school on subject civics education. This learning media is a comic media that is printed in paper of A5 size. Expert validation trials to test the feasibility of this media are conducted. The expert validation was carried out by media expert, material expert and education expert with the research subjects all fourth grade students of SDN Cibomo, Serang City with the research subject total 20 students. From the obtained data, this comic media gets an average expert validation score 94.1% so that it gets the "very feasible" category, and gets an average score 94.4% of students' responses and was included in the "very feasible" criteria, furthermore, it obtained a score 94% of the educators’ responses and receives the "very feasible" criteria. So, it can be concluded that the comic learning media in civics education subject of understanding the relationship between symbols and the meaning of the principles of Pancasila’s material is feasible and can be used in grade IV of elementary school students.
