Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak�kanak Kelurahan Ciakar Kabupaten Tangerang Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Ex-Post Facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 79 guru. Jumlah sampel yang diambil berdasarkan teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu 34 guru kelompok B di Taman Kanak- kanak Kelurahan Ciakar Kabupaten Tangerang Banten yang sudah teakreditasi A. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji hipotesis yang diolah dengan bantuan program SPSS 22.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak- kanak Kelurahan Ciakar Kabupaten Tangerang Banten. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai signifikan yang diperoleh yaitu 0,005 < 0,05yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendekatan saintifik yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Kelurahan Ciakar Kabupaten Tangerang Banten.

Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the effect of a scientific approach on the problem solving ability of children aged 5-6 years in Ciakar Village Kindergarten, Tangerang, Banten. The method used in this research is themethod Ex-Post Facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 79 teachers. The number of samples taken based ontechnique, purposive sampling namely 34 teachers of group B in Kindergarten, Ciakar Urban Village, Tangerang Banten Regency who have been accredited A. The data collection technique used a Likert scale. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing were processed with the help of the SPSS 22.0 for windows program. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded as follows, there is a positive and significant effect of a scientific approach on the problem solving ability of children aged 5-6 years in Ciakar Village Kindergarten, Tangerang, Banten. This can be seen from the significant value obtained, namely 0.005 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of a scientific approach on the problem�solving ability of children aged 5-6 years in Ciakar Village Kindergarten, Tangerang, Banten.
