Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas keterlibatan orang tua dalam program literasi terhadap perkembangan literasi anak TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi adanya perbedaan perkembangan literasi anak di TKIT Darussalam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua dari anak TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten, yang berjumlah 76 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, sehingga sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh orang tua dari anak TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten, sebanyak 76 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam program literasi anak TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten dalam pengembangan vocabulary skill menunjukkan angka 70.09% yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup terlibat,pengembangan print motivation skill menunjukkan angka 58.63%, yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang terlibat, pengembangan print awareness skill menunjukkan angka 68.64%, yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup terlibat, pengembangan narrative skill menunjukkan angka 82.23%, yang termasuk dalam kategori banyak terlibat, pengembangan letter knowledge skill menunjukkan angka 66.88%, yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang terlibat, pengembangan phonological awareness skill menunjukkan angka 69.98%, angka tersebut termasuk dalam kategori cukup terlibat, Dengan demikian rata-rata keterlibatan orang tua dalam prgram literasi anak TKIT Darussalam adalah 69.41% dan dikategorikan cukup terlibat. Dan hasil Hasil penelitian rata rata perkembangan literasi anak TKIT Darussalam Cilegon- Banten menunjukkan persentase 81%, yang termasuk dalam berkembang dengan baik. Perkembangan literasi vocabulary skill (keterampilan anak mengetahui tentang kosakata) menunjukkan angka 83.33% yang termasuk dalam kategori berkembang cukup baik, perkembangan literasi print motivation skill (ketertarikan terhadap membaca buku) menunjukkan angka 76.20%, yang termasuk dalam kategori berkembang cukup baik, perkembangan literasi print awareness skill (kemampuan memperhatikan atau menandai simbol yang ada di lingkungan) menunjukkan angka 77.79%, yang termasuk dalam kategori berkembang cukup baik, perkembangan literasi narrative skill (kemampuan untuk memahami cerita dan bercerita) menunjukkan angka 88.65%, yang termasuk dalam kategori berkembang sangat baik, perkembangan literasi letter knowledge skill (kemampuan mengenal huruf) menunjukkan angka 78.39%, yang termasuk dalam kategori berkembang cukup baik., perkembangan literasi phonological awareness skill (kemampuan mendengar, menciptakan ritme dan mengucapkan kata-kata) menunjukkan angka 81.73%,termasuk dalam kategori berkembang sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil presentase tersebut maka keterlibatan orang tua dalam program literasi terhadap perkembangan literasi anak TKIT Darussalam cukup efektif.

Additional Information: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of parental involvement in literacy programs on the literacy development of TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten children. The research was motivated by the differences in children's literacy development in TKIT Darussalam. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method. The population in this study were the parents of the TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten children, totaling 76 people. The sampling technique used total sampling, so that the research sample was all 76 parents of TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten children. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that the involvement of parents in the TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten children's literacy program in developing vocabulary skills showed that 70.09% were included in the fairly involved category, the development of print motivation skills showed a figure of 58.63%, which was included in the category of less involved, the development of print awareness skills. shows a figure of 68.64%, which is included in the quite involved category, the development of narrative skills shows the number 82.23%, which is included in the category of being heavily involved, the development of letter knowledge skills shows the number 66.88%, which is included in the category of less involved, the development of phonological awareness skills shows the number 69.98 %, this figure is categorized as moderately involved, thus the average involvement of parents in the literacy program of TKIT Darussalam children is 69.41% and is categorized as moderately involved. And the results The results of the average study of the literacy development of TKIT Darussalam Cilegon-Banten children showed a percentage of 81%, which is considered well developed. The development of vocabulary skill literacy (children's skills to know about vocabulary) shows that 83.33% is in the fairly well developed category, the development of print motivation skill literacy (interest in reading books) shows a figure of 76.20%, which is included in the fairly well developed category, the development of print literacy awareness skill (the ability to pay attention to or mark symbols in the environment) shows a figure of 77.79%, which is included in the fairly xviii well developed category, the development of narrative literacy skills (the ability to understand stories and tell stories) shows a figure of 88.65%, which is included in the very well developed category , the development of literacy letter knowledge skills (the ability to recognize letters) shows a figure of 78.39%, which is included in the fairly well developed category, the development of literacy phonological awareness skills Keywords: parental involvement, literacy programs, children's literacy Development
