Abstract
Penelitian di latar belakangi oleh adanya permasalahan kedisiplinan belajar siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Serang. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk melihat tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa, kemudian membuat rancangan rekomendasi program untuk mengembangkan kedisiplinan belajar khususnya pada siswa klas VIII SMP Negeri se-kota Serang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian 182 siswa. Penelitian ini mengenai kedisiplinan belajar, dilakukan dengan melihat dari delapan sub indikator yaitu patuh dan taat terhadap tata tertib di sekolah, persiapan belajar, perhatian terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran, menyelesaikan tugas pada waktunya, mempunyai rencana atau jadwal belajar, belajar dalam tempat dan suasana yang mendukung, ketaatan dan keteraturan dalam belajar, perhatian terhadap materi pelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menyebar instrumen penelitian berupa angket dengan 34 jumlah item sesuai dengan sub indikator kedisiplinan belajar sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kedisiplinan belajar yang dialami siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-kota Serang berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 79%, Penyumbang terbesar terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri se-Kota Serang bersumber dari indikator kedisiplinan belajar diisekolah dengan sub indikator patuh dan taat terhadap tata tertib belajar di sekolah, dan perhatian terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran pada kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 76%. Maka rancangan rekomendasi program dibuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diketahui dari hasil penelitian yang telah didapat

Additional Information: | This research is based on the problem of learning discipline among students of State Junior High Schools in Serang city. The purpose of the study was to see the level of student learning discipline, then make a program recommendation plan to develop learning discipline, especially in class VIII State Junior High Schools in Serang city. This type of research is descriptive research with a research sample of 182 students. This research on learning discipline was carried out by looking at eight sub-indicator namely obedince and obedince to school rules, preparation for learning, attention to learning activities, completing assignment on time, having a learning plan or schedule, learning in a suppostive place and atmosphere, obedince and regularity on learning, attention to subject matter. The data collection technique used was to spread the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with 34 items in accordance with the learning discipline sub�indicator, while the data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive. The result showed that the level of learning discipline experienced by students of class VIII State Junior High Schools in Serang city was in the medium category with a percentage of 79%, indicators of obedience and obedince to the discipline of learning at school and attention to learning activities in the moderate category, namely 76%.
