Abstract

This research aims are to determine the profile of child laborer who do the worst forms of child, and also wanted to make explanations to the various factors behind child work on the worst forms of child in Kota Surakarta. By the survey research design, and explanative type then taken by 45 child laborers as a sampling. The data were collected through an indepth interview method, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis was performed by combining the techniques of descriptive statistics and analysis of categorization, to obtain a comprehensive analysis.The results showed that: in general, working children have no schools, and the male sex, having work about 4-8 hours per day, and get earn less than Rp. 25,000 per day. The main reason children work is because of the family economy slumped, gets sexual violence, a victim of CSEC and become a victims of sexual trafficking.
