Abstract
This research is motivated by the low Ability Mathematical Understanding of Concepts (AMUC) and Ability Mathematical Problem Solving (AMPS) of students, so it is necessary to find appropriate learning alternatives in order to improve AMUC and AMPS of students, one of which is the implementation model of Experiential Learning through RMEI approach.This research aimed to determine: 1) the increase in the AMUC and AMPS of students who obtain a model of learning with the application of experiential learning through RMEI approach is higher than that received conventional learning, 2) the correlation between the AMUC and AMPS of learners who acquire learning with the application of experiential learning models through RMEI approach and 3) attitude learners towards learning with experiential learning through the application of the approach RMEI. From this study it can be concluded that: 1) the AMUC and AMPS of students who acquire learning with experiential learning through the application of the model RMEI approach is higher than that received conventional learning, 2) there is a significant correlation between the AMUC and AMPS of students and 3) in general the students attitude positively to the learning of mathematics with application of experiential learning models through RMEI approach.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis (KPKM) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (KPMM) siswa, sehingga perlu dicari alternatif pembelajaran yang tepat agar dapat meningkatkan KPKM dan KPMM siswa, salah satunya adalah penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) peningkatan KPKM dan KPMM siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI lebih tinggi daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional, 2) korelasi antara KPKM dan KPMM siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI dan 3) sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) KPKM dan KPMM siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI lebih tinggi daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat korelasi signifikan antara KPKM dan KPMM siswa dan 3) secara umum siswa memberikan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan penerapan model experiential learning melalui pendekatan PMRI. | |||||||||
